Storm Midget A wins Silver Stick

The LCHA would like to congratulate the Midget A Storm team on winning the 2010 Minor Midget AA International Silver Stick Tournament on Jan. 17 in Newmarket, Ontario.  The LCHA is proud of the players, coaches and parents.

 
The team qualified by winning the Midland regional tournament. This is the first Silver Stick tournament won by any Lapeer team. The team was undefeated during the tournament and won the championship game in overtime. We will be able to cheer the Midget A team on at the state championships that will be held in Lapeer in March.
